Visa

To enter Japan, some foreign nationals are required to obtain a visa issued by the Japanese embassy or consulate in their country of residence.

If you need a visa, please contact the secretariat via e-mail before March 31.

Please note that the processes to issue a visa could take time, so please make sure to allow enough time to prepare the required documents to apply for a visa.

Abstract Guidelines

The abstract text (including the title, author's name and affiliation) must be written in English. Please check the information on the text length limitation below.

Abstracts must be accompanied by:

  • Presentation style (oral or poster)
  • Presentation category (select from the following Classification A and Classification B )
  • Corresponding author

    Affiliation

    E-mail address

  • Title of the paper (within 100 characters, including spaces)
  • Full name(s) of author(s) (maximum 15 people)
  • Affiliation(s) (maximum 15 affiliations)
  • Abstract body

    The length of an abstract, including a title, full names of authors, affiliations, and abstract body, must not exceed 1,700 characters and cannot include charts or special characters.

Presentation Method

Presentation is to be made either by oral or poster presentation. Please choose your preferred type of presentation at abstract submission; however, the final selection is left to the local organizing committee. Results will be announced on the website.

  • Oral presentation

    Use of PC projector only

    Please submit your presentation data at the PC Center on the 1st floor of the venue at least 30 minutes before your presentation.

    Please save your presentation data in USB and bring it to the venue.

  • Poster presentation

    Those who participate in the Conference as a poster presenter are asked to visit the Poster Session Room. The secretariat prepares poster boards, pins, and presenter's ribbons, and you are to place your poster by yourself. Your poster should be posted during the Conference.
